(1)「正確な日本語」を使うことを意識しています
実は多くの日本人が、正しい日本語を使えておらず、日本人同士の独特なニュアンスや文脈、暗黙の了解を前提に会話を成り立たせています。
ですが、海外の方と仕事をした時、自分が発した日本語を翻訳してもらったとしても、正確に伝わらないことが多々あります。
それはチャットや資料でも顕著に表れます。
私たちは、英語または日本語で仕様書を書きますが、現地の翻訳者に翻訳をしてもらい、各国のエンジニアはそれによってプロジェクトの理解を進めます。
そのため元となる言葉が正しくなければ翻訳しても正確に伝わりません。
正確なシステムを作るためには、正確な言葉で定義し、言い表せることが必要となります。
(2)非同期・マルチタスクによるコミュニケーションスキルを高めることを意識しています
電話やビデオ会議のように、決められた予定で行う会議(同期的なコミュニケーション)はもちろん行うべきですが、従来のように、さほど緊急でもない内容で、いきなり電話をかけて要点を伝えるといったコミュニケーション方法は極度に避けています。
それは同期型のコミュニケーションを取ることで、相手の作業のリズムを崩してしまうためです。
そのため、Slackなどチャットベースで、お互い非同期的にコミュニケーションをとり、マルチタスクで多数のプロジェクトを回すことを重要視しています。
(3)ソフトウェア生産工程の省力化を目指す

(1) The importance of using "accurate Japanese"
In fact, many Japanese people do not use correct Japanese, and have conversations based on the unique nuances, context, and tacit understanding between Japanese people. However, when working with people from overseas, even if the Japanese instructions were translated, there would be many cases where it doesn't come across accurately. This is also evident in chats and materials. They write specifications in English or Japanese, and have local translators translate them so that engineers in each country can understand the project better. Therefore, if the original words are not correct, the translation will not convey the message accurately. In order to create an accurate system, it is necessary to be able to define and express it in precise terms.
(2) Importance of improving my communication skills through asynchronous/multitasking.
Of course, meetings should be held on a set schedule (synchronous communication), such as telephone calls and video conferences, but traditional communication such as making a sudden phone call and conveying the main points with less urgent matters is also important. This method is strictly avoided. This is because synchronous communication disrupts the rhythm of the other person's work. Therefore, they place importance on communicating asynchronously with each other through chat-based tools such as Slack, and working on multiple projects through multitasking.
(3) Aiming to improve efficiency in the software production process
They are trying to introduce AI, bots, and automation quickly and with generous budgets. They believe the possibility of GPT4 replacing many jobs is the most talked about topic in the world right now. If leaving it to AI and bots can save labor in the software production process, they plan to create a small, elite management group. In addition, they aim to create a work environment where highly specialized employees who are raising children can balance childcare with work and lead a fulfilling lifestyle.
