【Businesses, Services, and Products Involved】
■Business Planning and Business Creation to Promote the Spread, Evolution, and Transformation of Digital Currency and Digital Payments
A consulting business that works with government, government-affiliated financial institutions, and private financial operators (banks, funds transfer service providers, etc.) to advance the development of digital finance businesses and projects created through the spread, evolution, and transformation of digital currency and digital payments.
■Business Creation in Digital Finance Using Advanced Technologies
Work with customers to identify challenges in the financial domain and support the formulation of business plans for digital finance utilizing advanced technologies (cloud, blockchain, Web3, NFT/tokenization, AI, etc.).
【Background of Recruitment】
This division positions financial institution systems, particularly the payment domain, as a priority area and is expanding its business in response to the acceleration of cashless transactions and digital finance. As part of this, a project to build a new payment system that forms the core of the nation's infrastructure has been launched, aiming to create new businesses and services that contribute to convenience, in addition to advancing existing services. This project requires using overseas package vendors while envisioning a system design aligned with business strategy, and a cross-functional structure spanning business planning, SE, R&D, and other internal departments is being formed. We are currently widely recruiting leader candidates from outside the company who can cross-functionally lead the proposal phase and advance the project through negotiations with overseas PKG vendors and communication in English.
【Job Summary】
・For the new payment system for financial institutions based on an overseas payment PKG, you will serve as team leader for the proposal phase.
・Organize both business and system requirements and constraints, and lead negotiations in English with overseas PKG vendors as well as cross-team coordination of business and specifications as team lead.
・In a leadership role, conduct investigation and development management of overseas PKG vendors, and coordinate with customers and internal related departments.
・After order receipt, lead the examination of application policies for the overseas PKG and vendor coordination (functional, non-functional, schedule, etc.) in the development process.
【Job Details】
・In the requirements organization and proposal phase (from pre-proposal to proposal) for a new payment system utilizing an overseas payment PKG, prepare RFI/RFP structure proposals and proposal outlines.
・Lead the organization of issues and the examination of response policies for both business and system aspects, involving internal stakeholders such as planning, sales, system (application/infrastructure), and R&D departments.
・Through English meetings and emails with overseas package vendors, confirm functional and non-functional requirements and constraints, and compile QA.
・Consolidate input from each review team, including planning, sales, system (application/infrastructure), and R&D departments, and reflect it in project planning, including schedule, structure, and risks.
・Understand the work status and quality of each overseas PKG vendor, and coordinate progress management, issue and risk management, and improvement actions.
・Prepare and review reports and explanatory materials for senior management and customers.
・After order receipt, lead coordination regarding the application and changes of the overseas PKG in the development process (including functional, non-functional, and interface perspectives), and manage coordination among PKG vendors and internal teams.
【Position Appeal, Rewards, and Career Path】
◆Appeal and Rewards
・The greatest appeal is being able to deeply participate from the pre-stage in the planning and proposal of a new payment system that forms the core of the nation's infrastructure. You can experience the dynamism unique to large-scale projects while making use of overseas PKGs and English.
・By leading business and specification coordination and negotiations with overseas vendors across diverse review teams and departments, you can strongly feel that "I am moving the project forward."
◆Career Path
The experience of advancing large-scale mission-critical projects gained through this project leads to careers as a future project manager, cross-functional PMO leader, senior PM including overseas projects, or upstream consultant.
【Work Environment】
① About the Assigned Organization/Team
This project will be a large-scale project proposal team composed of members in their 20s through 50s (approximately 30 members expected in the pre-phase). In addition to front-line SEs, you will work closely with other departments such as sales, planning, and R&D to advance the conceptualization and proposal of a new payment system that forms the core of the nation's infrastructure. There is a culture of exchanging opinions across positions and job types, and this team suits those who enjoy raising issues on their own and moving things forward by involving those around them.

Because we emphasize collaboration with other departments and face-to-face discussions, in principle work is premised on in-office (face-to-face) work. Depending on job content and circumstances, partial remote work may be used in combination.
Also, depending on the progress and coordination status of the project, business trips to overseas PKG vendor sites may occur.
