[Assigned Organization]
Digital Services Business Unit (Infrastructure Control Systems), Power Generation and Transmission/Distribution Control Systems Division, Power Generation Control Systems Design Department
[About the Assigned Organization (Overview and Mission)]
The Power Generation Control Systems Design Department is responsible for designing and developing control systems and related equipment, mainly for thermal and hydroelectric power plants. We are currently working to create distributed business for realizing carbon neutrality, and we are strengthening the organization accordingly. We aim to provide effective solutions as a business to societal challenges such as rapidly growing electricity demand and decarbonization, through distributed energy solutions centered on the use of hydrogen energy and fuel cells. This time, we are recruiting people who will be involved in the design and development of these control systems.
[Business, Services, and Products Involved]
You will be involved in the design and development of distributed energy control systems for realizing carbon neutrality (hydrogen systems, fuel cell systems, EMS, etc.).
※News release
Selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's public project "Joint Study Project for Introducing Locally Produced and Locally Consumed Hydrogen Stations"
[Background of Recruitment]
Due to changes in the business environment, the power generation control field requires advancement of control technologies and response to new carbon-neutral-related businesses. Our department is expanding into distributed energy fields such as hydrogen systems and fuel cells, in addition to control systems for thermal and hydroelectric power generation. We are recruiting new talent to strengthen the design and development structure and to pass on technical expertise.
[Job Summary]
You will be responsible for overall design work related to distributed energy systems (system design, hardware design, software design, after-sales service, etc.).
[Job Details]
The main responsibilities are as follows.
・Developing distributed energy system specifications that consider business viability (cost structure, scalability, versatility, etc.) based on customer needs, installation conditions, and operational requirements
・Planning and studying overall system design and control design
・Hardware/software design that satisfies system specifications, maintenance and modification support for control systems after delivery
・Studying future service and business expansion based on market trends and customer needs
・Project management across related departments (sales, design, development, procurement, etc.)
[Position Appeal, Fulfillment, and Career Path]
[Appeal and Fulfillment]
We are looking for colleagues who will shape the future of distributed energy-related systems. The world is accelerating its transition to a decarbonized society, and within this, hydrogen is attracting attention as an important option supporting future energy supply. Fuel cells are one of the core technologies supporting their practical use. We consistently handle everything from integrated demonstration of EMS (Energy Management System) and fuel cell systems through to commercialization, and are promoting projects that lead to the transformation of social infrastructure. This work goes beyond technology development alone; it builds a distributed energy foundation and supports future cities, industries, and people's lives. The appeal and fulfillment unique to this position lie in being able to enhance your own expertise and technical skills while feeling your contribution to society.
[Career Path]
After assignment, you will gain experience across overall design work as a design staff member for distributed energy-related systems. Through approximately 5 years of practical experience, we expect you to improve your design skills and project promotion ability, and to take on a leadership role in the distributed energy business. After that, if your achievements and aptitude as a leader are recognized, you may step up to a manager position leading a team. In addition, the same department also designs and develops electrical and control systems for thermal and hydroelectric power plants, so you can also broaden your career in these fields by applying the design skills and expertise you have developed.
[Work Environment]
You will be assigned to the CN (Carbon Neutrality) Group within the Power Generation Control Systems Design Department.
Approximately 10 people belong to the group as a whole, and people of various age groups from their 20s to 50s work together. Business trips to customer facilities also occur.
