【お仕事の内容】
成長期にあるYaqumoにおいて、経営陣のパートナーとして、事業・組織上の重要課題の解決を主導するVP of Strategy & Operationsを募集します。
期待するのは、与えられたテーマの分析や、決まった施策の進行管理にとどまらず、まだ十分に整理されていない問題を、解決すべき課題と実行可能なプロジェクトに変え、成果につなげることです。自ら情報を集め、論点と選択肢を整理し、経営陣の意思決定を支えながら、関係部門を巻き込んで実行・定着まで推進していただきます。
対象は、事業計画・資金調達から、研究開発を支える設備投資・調達・補助金プロジェクト、組織の拡大に伴う業務基盤の構築まで多岐にわたります。特定の部門や機能に閉じず、経営上の優先順位に応じたテーマを、課題設定から解決まで一貫してリードするポジションです。
経営陣とともに取り組むべきテーマと優先順位を定め、担当テーマの推進責任者として、課題の特定・構造化、解決策の立案、実行・定着を主導します。企画・提案にとどまらず、必要な実務にも自ら踏み込み、関係部門とともに解決を推進していただきます。
① 研究開発計画を踏まえた投資・資金計画の策定
研究開発のマイルストーンを踏まえ、必要な設備投資・調達・予算とその優先順位を整理し、事業計画・資金計画の策定を推進します。
資本政策の策定・資金調達を支援するとともに、NEDO等の大型委託事業について、研究開発チームと連携し、申請からプロジェクト単位の予算管理・執行、報告・実地検査対応までを推進します。
② 事業計画の実現に向けた経営課題の特定・解決
KPI・予実管理の仕組みを整え、各部門の状況とあわせて、計画の実現を妨げる課題とその原因を明らかにします。
経営会議の論点設計・運営を担い、対応策の効果・コスト・リスクを整理して経営陣に提案します。意思決定後は関係部門を巻き込み、施策の実行と効果の検証まで推進します。
③ 成長に必要な経営機能・業務基盤の構築
事業・組織の拡大を見据え、調達・情報システム・社内オペレーションの課題を整理し、整備の優先順位と必要な体制・業務プロセスを設計します。
見積・契約・検収などの購買プロセスの整備、SaaSの選定・導入、アカウント管理・セキュリティ体制の整備、勤怠・経費精算・稟議の仕組み化、規程・ルールの更新などを通じて、業務基盤の立ち上げ・運用・定着を主導します。
As a leader in a growth-stage company, Yaqumo is recruiting a VP of Strategy & Operations who will serve as a partner to the executive team and lead the resolution of important business and organizational challenges.
We expect you to go beyond analyzing given themes or managing the progress of decided measures. You will turn problems that are not yet well organized into challenges to be solved and executable projects, and deliver results. You will gather information yourself, organize issues and options, support executive decision-making, and drive execution and establishment while involving relevant departments.
The scope covers a wide range, from business planning and fundraising to capital investment, procurement, and subsidy projects that support R&D, and the building of operational infrastructure as the organization expands. This is a position not confined to a specific department or function, leading themes according to management priorities from problem definition through to resolution.
Together with the executive team, you will set the themes to tackle and their priorities. As the person responsible for promoting your assigned themes, you will lead the identification and structuring of issues, the development of solutions, and their execution and establishment. Beyond planning and proposals, you will personally engage in necessary hands-on work and drive resolution together with relevant departments.
① Formulating investment and funding plans based on R&D plans
Based on R&D milestones, organize the necessary capital investment, procurement, and budgets along with their priorities, and promote the formulation of business and funding plans.
Support capital policy formulation and fundraising, and in coordination with R&D teams, promote large-scale NEDO and other commissioned projects from application through project-level budget management and execution, to reporting and on-site inspection response.
② Identifying and resolving management issues to realize the business plan
Establish KPI and budget-versus-actual management mechanisms, and clarify issues and their causes that hinder achievement of the plan, together with the status of each department.
Take responsibility for designing and running management meeting agendas, organize the effects, costs, and risks of countermeasures, and propose them to the executive team. After decisions are made, involve relevant departments and promote implementation of measures and verification of results.
③ Building management functions and operational infrastructure needed for growth
With business and organizational expansion in view, organize issues in procurement, information systems, and internal operations, and design priorities for development as well as the necessary structures and business processes.
Lead the establishment, operation, and settling-in of operational infrastructure through initiatives such as developing purchasing processes for quotes, contracts, and acceptance inspections; selecting and introducing SaaS; building account management and security systems; systematizing attendance, expense reimbursement, and approval (ringi) workflows; and updating regulations and rules. |

定量・定性の情報をもとに課題を構造化し、判断に必要な選択肢と推奨方針を経営陣・事業責任者に提案できる力。
複数部門や立場の異なる関係者と合意を形成し、部門横断で施策やプロジェクトを推進した経験。
コンサルティングファームでの経験に限らず、事業会社の経営企画・事業企画・事業推進などで、上記の経験をお持ちの方を歓迎します。

課題や進め方が明確でない状況でも、自ら情報を集め、仮説を立て、取り組むべきことを具体化できる方。
経営と現場の双方の視点を持ち、それぞれの事情や制約を理解しながら、会社全体にとっての解決策を考えられる方。
提案や資料作成で終わらず、専門外の領域や必要な実務にも踏み込み、解決まで粘り強く推進できる方。
Experience independently driving business, management, and organizational issues from current-state assessment and issue structuring through solution design and implementation.
The ability to structure issues based on quantitative and qualitative information and propose options and recommended directions needed for decision-making to management and business leaders.
Experience building consensus among multiple departments and stakeholders with differing positions and driving cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Candidates with the above experience in corporate planning, business planning, or business promotion at operating companies are welcome, not limited to consulting firm experience.

The ability to gather information on one's own, form hypotheses, and concretize what should be done even in situations where the issues and approach are not clear.
Able to consider solutions for the company as a whole while understanding the circumstances and constraints of both management and the front lines, holding both perspectives.
Able to go beyond proposals and documentation into areas outside one's specialty and into necessary hands-on work, and persistently drive problems through to resolution. |
