UUUM is currently developing its own proprietary platforms—"UUUM ONE for Creators" (for creators) and "Influencer PORT" (for advertisers)—with the goal of building a platform business that offers a diverse range of products, all anchored by a unified, in-house-developed infrastructure.
At the core of these platforms lie the creator network and data assets that UUUM has cultivated over many years. We maintain connections with approximately 50,000 creators, including about 150 exclusive creator groups (boasting a combined total of over 200 million YouTube subscribers and approximately 2.2 billion monthly views). Our data infrastructure tracks over 15 million unique pieces of content—comprising roughly 7.2 million items from TikTok, 4.2 million from Instagram, and 3.7 million from YouTube—along with approximately 120,000 social media accounts, all stored as daily, time-series snapshots. The dataset, hosted on BigQuery, has grown to over 260 billion rows (exceeding 50 TB), with hundreds of millions of records synchronized daily from external APIs.
Managing data of this scale while relying on external platforms presents unique technical challenges. These include designing systems that perform hundreds of thousands of API calls daily—all while staying within rate limits—continuously adapting to specification changes on the platforms themselves, and ensuring data consistency across various internal systems. We must strike a high-level balance between two distinct types of development: building a robust, scalable, and highly available core infrastructure, and rapidly releasing a variety of services.
As a primary strategic focus, we will concentrate our efforts over the next few years on delivering value within the influencer marketing sector—specifically through the matching of creators with brand campaigns. Since its launch 12 months ago, our platform for advertisers, "Influencer PORT," has seen a roughly 50-fold increase in applications (growing from 66 per month to 3,474 over the last 30 days). While this represents a solid start, there remain many areas within influencer marketing that can be addressed through technology, and we have significant feature updates planned for the future. Our goal is to use data to connect creators with advertisers, leveraging an AI-driven, superior user experience (UX) to accelerate matching and drive business growth for both parties. The effective application of data and AI, combined with an exceptional UX, will be the key factors determining the growth of our product business over the coming years.
Furthermore, we are currently transitioning toward an AI-first development process. Rather than simply adopting a pre-existing environment, our team is actively designing an AI-driven development workflow from the ground up. Engineers who can autonomously drive both design and implementation—spanning across both backend and frontend domains—will play a central role in this initiative.
Against this backdrop, we are seeking engineers who possess a core expertise in either frontend or backend development, while also having the willingness and ability to engage with the other domain. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing the full lifecycle of their assigned features—from initial design and implementation to ongoing operation. [Job Responsibilities]
・Develop products that either deliver value to creators or connect creators’ value with advertisers.
・Manage the full development lifecycle for assigned features—from design and implementation to testing and release.
・Design and develop core marketplace features, such as creator search, matching, and the automation of project workflows.
・Analyze and synthesize diverse requirements into well-defined, optimal product specifications.
・Operate and maintain the systems under development.
・Implement and improve development processes by leveraging AI-powered coding tools.
・Develop new, additional products.
[Why This Role Is Compelling]
◾️ Participate in the product launch phase, guided by real-world growth data.
Our platform for creators, "UUUM ONE," has onboarded over 2,500 creator groups (with integrated social media accounts) within just three months of launch, with approximately 3,500 API-linked accounts—across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—now fully operational. Meanwhile, our marketplace for advertisers, "Influencer PORT," has seen a 50-fold increase in application volume over 12 months, with active business relationships established with 57 companies, including major national brands.
However, much of the project workflow is still handled manually via spreadsheets. We are now at the stage where we will integrate solutions for fundamental challenges—such as improving matching precision, streamlining screening, and automating project management—directly into the product.
You will be involved in the core of the product, including technology selection and the determination of design strategy; at this stage, your individual decisions will have a direct impact on the business's key metrics.
Working in close collaboration with Product Managers (PdMs) and other cross-functional teams, you will be involved in everything from defining requirements and specifications to proposing product improvements. ◾️ Technical Challenges Inherent in Systems Integrated with External Platforms
We track approximately 120,000 accounts and over 15 million pieces of content across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—including creators whose content generates roughly 2.2 billion views per month—by leveraging platform APIs and proprietary data-collection infrastructure.
Our work involves tackling the complex, fundamental engineering challenges typical of systems dependent on external platforms: managing hundreds of thousands of daily API calls while navigating strict rate limits; adapting to frequent changes in platform specifications; maintaining time-series data models that store daily snapshots of statistics for each piece of content; and integrating with a data infrastructure comprising over 260 billion rows and 50TB of data.
This is core engineering that directly impacts creators' revenue opportunities and the marketing outcomes of advertisers.
◾️ A Development Culture That Balances Well-being with Results
Through weekly retrospectives, our development team identifies and systematically addresses both short-term and long-term challenges.
We have a deeply ingrained culture of code reviews and testing, ensuring an environment where you can focus on high-quality development with confidence.
Furthermore, we operate on a hybrid model—with one day in the office per week—and prioritize a flat, role-based communication structure.
We are currently in the phase of designing an AI-driven development workflow. You will have the opportunity to help shape a new approach to engineering—one where AI assists in development across both backend and frontend, allowing humans to focus on high-level decision-making. You won’t just be a user of an established system; you will be a designer helping to build it.
The company also supports AI-driven development by providing a monthly subsidy of up to $200 per person to cover the costs of coding agents, such as Claude Code. We have also established a governance framework to support the serious, professional use of AI—including measures such as ensuring the ability to opt out of having data used for model training, and mandating human peer review for all code.
