  • Control Engineer / Embedded Systems Engineer
  • Osaka
  • Salary 6 to 9 million yen
【大阪/革新的ロボットハンドメーカー】フィールドアプリケーションエンジニア
職種Position Control Engineer / Embedded Systems Engineer
会社概要Company profile [Company Overview]
The hiring company is a startup that is tackling the "last inch" of robot hands, centered on proximity sensor technology originating from Osaka University. Aiming to realize robots that can be used as easily as home appliances, they are promoting the social implementation of a product line that integrates proprietary sensors with AI and flexible mechanisms.

[Company Introduction (Features and Characteristics)]
■ Aiming for the social implementation of advanced automation with robots possessing "reflexes"
Amidst a serious labor shortage, the reason why robot adoption is not progressing is that conventional sequence control (routine movements) cannot cope with uncertainty, and the burden and cost of implementation do not justify the cost-effectiveness. Based on the research results of Associate Professor Koyama of Osaka University, their company implements human-like "reflexes" in robots through integrated feedback control of "edge AI-equipped proximity sensors" and "flexible actuators." This achieves both high functionality and dexterity in automation with minimal setup effort and reasonable pricing. They aim to solve the challenges hindering adoption with their proprietary technology and achieve the social implementation of advanced automation.

■ Extensive Track Record and High Expectations Backing the Reliability of their Technology
This approach, based on their unique technology, has been highly praised by specialized institutions, including the Robotics Society of Japan's "Practical Technology Award" and the Robot Grand Prize's "Excellence Award." Their track record of raising a cumulative 1.9 billion yen in funding is proof that their technology is not merely research-based, but is highly anticipated as a technology that supports complex manufacturing sites.
