インフラ・プラットフォームエンジニア (13791)
職種Position System Engineers / Infrastructure Engineers / Web Engineers / Game Developers
会社概要Company profile The company is an energy-tech startup originating from research at the University of Tokyo, developing and providing an Energy Management System (EMS) platform that integrates and controls solar power generation, grid-scale battery storage, and electricity market operations.

As renewable energy adoption continues to expand, software technologies that enable stable power supply and efficient energy operation are becoming increasingly important. The company contributes to the advancement of Japan’s power infrastructure through the development of an integrated platform connecting generation facilities, battery storage systems, electricity markets (such as JEPX and balancing markets), and operational systems.

In recent years, the company has been focusing on next-generation energy management solutions that combine real-time control, market integration, and data analytics, particularly in response to the rapid growth of grid-scale battery storage business.

Through the development of mission-critical systems that support national energy infrastructure, the company aims to contribute to both the realization of a decarbonized society and the stable supply of electricity.
仕事内容Job description [Background]
Due to the rapid expansion of our grid-scale battery business, we are looking for a Platform Engineer to enhance the reliability and strengthen the infrastructure base of our J-EMS platform.

Our system features a two-tier architecture: Cloud (market trading and schedule management) and Edge (storage battery control). It is a mission-critical system that integrates with electricity markets (JEPX, balancing markets), submits plans to OCCTO (Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators), and controls physical storage batteries on-site in real time. As the number of energy storage stations increases, enhancing infrastructure scalability, availability, and security is the key to our business growth.

[Key Responsibilities]
• Infrastructure Design, Construction, and Operation
-Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure on Azure (VM, VNet, ExpressRoute).
-Drive and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
-Automate and standardize server configuration management using Ansible.
-Operate, tune, and improve the availability of PostgreSQL databases.

・ CI/CD & Developer Experience (DX) Enhancement
-Improve and advance CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.
-Automate and accelerate builds, testing, and deployment.
-Maintain development environments and drive initiatives to increase developer productivity.

・ Monitoring & Observability
-Build and improve monitoring infrastructure using Grafana, Zabbix, and Sentry.
-Design SLIs/SLOs and visualize service levels.
-Advance failure detection systems and design alert mechanisms.
-Operate logging infrastructure (Fluentd) and maintain data analysis environments.

・ Security & Networking
-Manage connections with on-premises Disaster Recovery (DR) systems via ExpressRoute and Virtual WAN.
-Design and operate network security (NSGs, Firewalls).
-Manage secrets using Ansible Vault and Keeper CLI.

・ Reliability Engineering
-Establish incident response processes and create runbooks.
-Plan and execute regular disaster/failure drills.
-Handle capacity planning and ensure system scalability.

[Why This Role is Exciting]
・Build Social Infrastructure: You will be in charge of the infrastructure for a mission-critical system directly tied to the stable operation of the power grid.
・End-to-End Cloud & Edge Experience: Work across both Azure cloud and edge device connections on-site via ExpressRoute, designing infrastructure end-to-end.
・True IaC Environment: Gain deep, practical experience implementing full-scale Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
・High Discretion: Enjoy the autonomy unique to a startup to design and improve the platform foundation from the ground up.
・At the Forefront of Energy × Tech: Be part of a cutting-edge field driving Japan’s green energy transition through grid batteries and balancing markets.
応募資格Requirement Must Have
・3+ years of experience in web application infrastructure design, construction, and operation.
・Experience building and operating public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
・Experience in infrastructure deployment using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
・Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
・Experience building and operating Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
・Experience building and operating monitoring and log management infrastructure.

Nice to Have
・Experience with Azure environments (VM, VNet, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN).
・Configuration management experience using Ansible.
・Experience with PostgreSQL operations and performance tuning.
・Experience with operational design based on SLI/SLO.
・Network design and operational experience (especially VPN and dedicated lines).
・Experience in security design and audit compliance.
・Experience with container technologies (Docker).
・Experience operating edge computing or IoT systems.
・Experience operating highly reliable systems (e.g., power/energy industry, finance industry).

Ideal Candidate Profile
・Believes that "system reliability is built through thorough operations."
・Investigates the root cause of failures and takes ownership up to preventing recurrence.
・Collaborates effectively with development teams to improve the overall developer experience.
・Values documentation and knowledge sharing.
・Thrives in and enjoys the fast-paced, evolving environment of a startup.
・Possesses a strong sense of responsibility toward supporting social infrastructure.
