会社概要Company profile This is with a deep-tech startup developing and commercializing world-leading neutral-atom quantum computing systems, one of the most promising next-generation computing architectures.

The company was established in collaboration with leading quantum physics research groups in Japan and is working toward the practical realization of quantum computers as a next-generation computational platform. Through joint research initiatives with universities, national laboratories, and global technology partners, the team is advancing quantum hardware development for future industrial applications and international markets.

Quantum computing is expected to transform industries such as:

drug discovery
advanced materials design
artificial intelligence
financial optimization
energy systems

Among multiple quantum architectures, the company focuses on neutral-atom quantum computing, widely considered one of the most scalable and promising approaches for large-scale quantum processors.

This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute not only to research infrastructure but also to the real-world deployment and industrialization of next-generation computing technology.
仕事内容Job description We are seeking a Facilities Engineer responsible for ensuring the stable operation of critical infrastructure supporting a neutral-atom quantum computer, including vacuum chambers, cooling systems, and power systems—the core foundation that keeps the quantum processor running.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability of experimental environments where infrastructure performance directly impacts quantum system operation.

Responsibilities
Perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and log management for:
• vacuum pump systems (turbo pumps, ion pumps)
• cooling systems
• power supply infrastructure
including monitoring of:
• temperature
• pressure
• vibration
• power stability
Diagnose equipment abnormalities and perform first-level troubleshooting, coordinate with manufacturers and external vendors, arrange repairs, and implement preventive countermeasures
Support installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of newly introduced equipment, and establish stable operational procedures
Plan and implement improvements related to:
• system redundancy
• safety measures
• maintainability
Collaborate with scientists and hardware engineers to maintain and improve experimental infrastructure environments

Why This Role Is Unique
Rare opportunity to build and operate the facility infrastructure that keeps a quantum computer running continuously—from the earliest stage of development
Work alongside world-class scientists in an environment where infrastructure reliability directly impacts experimental results
Apply expertise in vacuum systems × quantum technology, a highly specialized and emerging technical domain
Join as an early-stage team member supporting the simultaneous launch of the first-generation and next-generation quantum processors scheduled for Q3 2026
応募資格Requirement Required Qualifications (Must-have)
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
At least 3 years of professional experience in facilities engineering or process engineering
Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting vacuum systems, including:
• vacuum pumps
• vacuum chambers
• vacuum measurement equipment
Experience supporting installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment
Professional-level Japanese communication skills required for coordination with internal teams and vendors
Ability to independently study technical specifications in unfamiliar domains and translate them into operational practice

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
Experience building or maintaining ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments
Maintenance experience with high-reliability equipment such as:
• semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• scientific research instrumentation
• particle accelerators
Experience implementing or operating facility monitoring systems such as:
• SCADA
• data logging platforms
Experience conducting technical discussions with vendors and manufacturers in English
