会社概要Company profile This is with a deep-tech startup developing and commercializing world-leading neutral-atom quantum computing systems, one of the most promising next-generation computing architectures.

The company was established in collaboration with leading quantum physics research groups in Japan and is working toward the practical realization of quantum computers as a next-generation computational platform. Through joint research initiatives with universities, national laboratories, and global technology partners, the team is advancing quantum hardware development for future industrial applications and international markets.

Quantum computing is expected to transform industries such as:

drug discovery
advanced materials design
artificial intelligence
financial optimization
energy systems

Among multiple quantum architectures, the company focuses on neutral-atom quantum computing, widely considered one of the most scalable and promising approaches for large-scale quantum processors.

This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute not only to research infrastructure but also to the real-world deployment and industrialization of next-generation computing technology.
仕事内容Job description Role Overview
This position leads the design and development of a real-time middleware control system that synchronizes precision instruments—such as lasers, cameras, and waveform generators—with nanosecond-level timing accuracy in a quantum computing platform.
As a specialist in real-time control systems, you will play a central role in building the timing-critical control infrastructure that drives quantum hardware operation.

Responsibilities
Design and implement real-time control software for precision instruments (e.g., lasers, cameras, electro-optic devices, coils) using:
• TTL signals
• analog signals
• RF control interfaces
Implement control sequences requiring nanosecond-level timing precision, and design coordinated operation between FPGA and host PC systems
Design modular and hierarchical software architectures to minimize change impact and improve maintainability
Define interface-layer specifications that translate compiler-layer signals into device-specific control signals
Collaborate with quantum physicists and hardware engineers on:
• system integration testing
• calibration workflow automation
• device-level validation

Why This Role Is Unique
Rare opportunity to architect the real-time control core of a next-generation quantum computing system from its earliest stage
Work with nanosecond-precision middleware systems that directly unlock the performance potential of quantum hardware
Collaborate directly with quantum physicists to translate experimental requirements into executable control software
Join as an early team member supporting the simultaneous launch of the first-generation and next-generation quantum processors scheduled for Q3 2026
応募資格Requirement Required Qualifications (Must-have)
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
At least 3 years of experience developing real-time control software for precision instruments or industrial equipment
Experience developing control systems in Python, and system development experience in:
• real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• embedded Linux environments
including timing accuracy and interrupt-level control
Hands-on experience implementing low-level I/O control, such as:
• TTL
• analog signals
• serial communication
Business-level English proficiency for technical communication within a global team
Ability to independently study and understand technical papers and specifications in unfamiliar domains

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
Experience designing modular and hierarchical software architectures
Experience with FPGA development (Verilog / VHDL) or software systems integrated with FPGA-based control
Experience controlling physics laboratory instrumentation, such as:
• optical systems
• laser systems
• vacuum systems
Experience developing high-reliability systems in industries such as:
• semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• medical devices
• aerospace systems
