In addition to remote network management, they offer a variety of services that add value to Wi-Fi spaces built with wireless mesh, such as positioning for Wi-Fi terminals or BLE tags, people flow analysis, and survey functions.
仕事内容Job description [Responsibilities]
You will be involved in the development of PBE (PicoCELA Backhaul Engine), the core engine of our products, as well as system development to enable new features for the PCWL product series.
The PCWL series functions as an edge computing platform and promotes integration with IoT gateways and various edge applications.

Key responsibilities include:
Development and maintenance of system software on embedded Linux (OpenWrt-based)
Porting, integration, and maintenance of open-source software (OSS) components
Development and maintenance of access point (AP) functionality (hostapd, wpa_supplicant, network services)
Development and maintenance of backhaul functionality (PBE)
Porting and extension of wireless communication drivers (Qualcomm, MediaTek, and other chipsets)
Development and maintenance of SDKs for ARM-based SoCs
Collaboration with other engineering teams on requirements definition, test design, and unit test implementation
System-level troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring product stability

Wireless Modules: Qualcomm, MediaTek, and other vendors
OS: Embedded Linux (OpenWrt)

Build Environment: Ubuntu, Docker

CI / Communication: Google Workspace, Confluence, JIRA
応募資格Requirement Required (MUST)
• Programming & Software Architecture: Strong proficiency in C and embedded Linux environments, with solid understanding of kernel–user space interactions and build systems
• Network Analysis: In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and wireless protocols (802.11), with hands-on experience in packet analysis using Wireshark
• Testing & Automation: Ability to design and implement unit and integration tests using Shell and Python, including test automation and tooling
• Advanced English proficiency (most meetings are conducted in English)
• Basic Japanese communication skills

Preferred (NICE TO HAVE)
• Advanced Linux Internals: Experience with kernel-level programming (drivers, netlink, mac80211, ath10k/ath11k/ath12k), custom patch development for driver-level performance optimization, and debugging crashes or Wi-Fi connectivity issues
• Network Protocol Design: Experience designing network protocols using finite state machines (FSM)
• Technical Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead technical projects, present complex technical findings in English, and write technical reports in English

条件・待遇Condition Salary
• Annual Salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 7,000,000
• Paid in 12 monthly installments
Monthly Salary Range:
• JPY 416,700 – 583,400
o Base Salary: JPY 308,300 – 431,600
o Fixed Overtime Allowance: JPY 108,400 – 151,800
 Includes 45 hours of overtime per month
 Overtime exceeding 45 hours will be paid separately

• Commuting allowance (no upper limit)

Working Hours
• Flexible working hours (Flextime system)
• Total working hours: 160 hours per month
• Core hours: 10:00 – 16:00
• Average monthly overtime: approximately 20–30 hours

• Year-end & New Year holidays (Dec 29 – Jan 3)
