仕事内容Job description This position is created to support Trip.com's strategic growth aspirations in service. The
individual in this role will primarily work to collect and analyze customer preferences, identify
market practices and development opportunities, and assist in coordinating processes for the
customer service team.

<Competitor Analysis>
• Conduct comprehensive research on competitors in online travel booking, hotel
and airline industry including their products, pricing, membership program and
especially practice of customer services in Japan market.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to
identify potential opportunities and threats via different tools and methods.
• Maintain up-to-date database of competitor activities and profiles and
benchmarking reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to integrate
competitive insights into business strategies.

<User Experience research>
1.Research Design and Execution
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand consumer behavior,
preferences, user journey to identify key touchpoints and pain points
• Utilize various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability
testing, and analytics, to gather insights into user behavior and preferences
• Support both international and local Japan research project

2. Data Analysis and Consumer Insights
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in user behavior, and provide
actionable recommendations for enhancing the user experience.
• Develop and maintain a consumer insights database to track changes in
consumer behavior over time.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to visualize and communicate user
experiences and interactions.

3. Communication and Cross-functional Collaboration
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders,
highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product
development, and customer service, to integrate consumer insights into business
strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the implement the recommendations
from the research results.

Others:
• Support internal communication on business performance and strategy for senior
management.
• Collaborate with APAC members and exercise discretion in performing duties.
• Perform other duties as required.
応募資格Requirement 1.Identity requirement
• Local resident of Japan or hold a long-term legal work visa in Japan, with a deep
understanding of Japanese culture, social customs, and the travel consumption
market

2.Education & Professional Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, Statistics or a
related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in UX research, market research, or customer
surveys (industry agnostic), plus 5+ years of working experience (high selfmanagement
skills expected)

3.Skill Requirements
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills. Experience with SPSS or SQL is
a plus.
• Attention to details. Love experience research and have strong sense in finding
painpoint and generating solutions for improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights.
• Able to independently conduct IDI(in-depth interviews); experience in moderating
FGD(focus groups discussion) is a plus

4.Communication & Collaboration
• Able to collaborate in APAC region, meticulously coordinate and share
information, and act with discretion.
• Strong initiative and result oriented. Ability to work independently with limited
resources and to initiate clear courses of action. Excellent project management
experience is preferred.
• Language:
-Native-level proficiency in Japanese (fluent in listening, speaking,
reading, and writing)
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.However, basic English proficiency may be acceptable for candidates
with senior-level UX experience.
-If communication in Chinese is possible, basic English proficiency is
also required.
4. Soft Skills
• Strong self-management: Able to independently drive projects in Japan,
prioritize tasks efficiently, and proactively participate in a global UXA team for
experience sharing and knowledge exchange, avoiding working in isolation.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented: Ensures data accuracy and logical reporting,
meeting Japanese workplace standards for precision and compliance.
• Curious: Willing to explore new opportunities and needs in Japan’s travel
market, and able to quickly adapt to the pace of cross-border team collaboration
