仕事内容Job description Job Summary:
Their company is promoting AI and robotics automation in a wide range of fields, including manufacturing automation and warehouse automation. They are seeking a software engineer to work with their development partners on new robot development.
In this position, you will be responsible for formulating specifications and requirements for new robots, resolving problems, and supporting testing activities.

Job Details:
- Work with overseas development partners to lead the formulation of specifications and requirements for robot products.
- Deeply understand use cases and operating environments, and appropriately incorporate them into product specifications and technical documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical issues in the development process, and work with partners to resolve them.
- Manage development schedules and progress, and improve project quality and efficiency through smooth communication.
- Support the formulation of test plans and verification activities, and contribute to product release after confirming conformance to specifications.
応募資格Requirement Required Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience in software research and development for robotics systems
- 3+ years of programming experience using C++ or Python
- Fundamental knowledge and operational experience of networks, sensors, and devices

Optional Requirements
- International conference presentations or paper submissions, or equivalent achievements
- Knowledge of generative AI, including foundational models
- R&D experience spanning not only software but also mechanical and electrical engineering
- Deep familiarity with basic tools closely related to robot development, such as Docker and Git
- Development experience with embedded or real-time operating systems
- Robot development experience using simulators
- Development experience with robotics-related cloud applications
- Software development and operation experience using ROS or ROS2
- Knowledge of the productization process
- Master's degree or higher
- Ability to communicate in English (TOEIC score of 700 or above)

Expected Annual Salary: 6-9 million yen (standard 6-month bonus + performance bonus)
Work Location: Tokyo, Chiba (remote work 2-3 days a week possible)
