仕事内容Job description [Job Description]
We are seeking a candidate to support the design and development of cutting-edge logistics automation robots and material handling equipment for Dexterity, a company originating from Stanford University and based in Silicon Valley, USA.

In this position, you will be responsible for the design and development of Dexterity's logistics automation robots and customized conveyors that operate in coordination. You will also work closely with conveyor vendors to handle tasks ranging from drafting specifications for customized products, through validation and testing, to quality assurance. Eventually, you will also be responsible for designing warehouse layouts for robot implementation. Once you become familiar with the work, you may also lead individual projects.

[Responsibilities]
Mechanical design of advanced logistics automation robots
Defining functional requirements for customized conveyors
Reviewing vendor specifications and coordinating necessary modifications
Creating and conducting inspection and testing procedures for customized conveyors
Designing, prototyping, and sourcing jigs/tools required for testing
Designing layout plans for robot deployment in logistics warehouses
Converting 2D design drawings into 3D models

応募資格Requirement [Requirement]
Mechanical design experience
Over 5 years of experience with 2D CAD
Over 3 years of experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Experience in sequence design
Business Japanese level
Business English level

[Preferred Requirement]
Basic knowledge of electrical design for industrial equipment
Experience managing outsourced development to vendors
Experience in manufacturing or logistics industries involving robots or material handling system design
Experience using CAE tools
