Subsidies from environmental groups such as JETRO and JICA, as well as subsidies from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, are the driving force behind our business, and we are also conducting joint research with JAXA using satellites.

・First penguin in the agricultural field

In 2023, they succeeded in producing 6,220 tons of carbon credits derived from rice paddies.

The following year, in 2024, they were selected for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' public "J-Credit Creation Promotion Support Project" in the agricultural field for fiscal year 2024.

■Future outlook■
Japan's domestic CO2 emissions are 1 billion tons, but domestic credit creation in 2030 is expected to remain at 1 million tons. In order to balance supply and demand, they will acquire a wide range of carbon credits, including overseas.

As an example, they will acquire government-led "bilateral credits" so that they can be traded between Vietnam and Japan. Incidentally, they have submitted our project in Vietnam to Gold Standard Verra, a world-renowned carbon credit certification body, and are gradually moving towards implementation.

In the future, they hope to become the company that creates and sells the most carbon credits not only in Asia but in the world, and to build a "green carbon economic sphere" centered on carbon credits.
仕事内容Job description [Start of demonstration experiment in ASEAN (Southeast Asia)]

Your mission is to build an experimental system at universities and research institutes in each country. We aim to launch experiments in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines first, so you will be working while traveling around the world.

The main focus is on carbon neutrality using microorganisms,
so we are looking for someone who is familiar with microorganisms.

<Specific work content>

■ Formulate experimental plans
・Determine specific experimental designs and approaches based on research themes
・Draw up plans to obtain efficient and effective results
・Create feasible schedules
・Manage necessary resources (equipment, reagents, samples, etc.)

■ Catch up on necessary information
・Review the latest papers and academic presentations to understand new knowledge and technologies in the field
・Analyze progress in competitive research and patent trends to strategically utilize them in projects.
・Research regulations and standards related to the research field and reflect them in the compliance requirements
・Quickly grasp scientific progress based on internal data
・Understand local rules within the institute and tacit knowledge specific to the laboratory

Flexible response to deal with unexpected problems that arise during daily experiments and data analysis is also required.
