仕事内容Job description You will be conducting research and development of new technologies and acquiring cellular big data that will lead to the "data-driven cell control" that the hiring company aims for. They are looking for a researcher who is motivated by a wide range of research and development, from basic to applied, and who can promote the development of technologies for the practical application of new drug discovery and regenerative medicine and their commercialization using bioinformatics, machine learning, statistics, and mathematical science. You will be able to analyze large-scale, high-precision cellular big data, which is only possible because the hiring company is developing new experimental techniques.

[A] In-house research project: Research and development of cell control technology that integrates single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology and cell culture optimization technology

(Example of research project)
・Research to acquire genetic profile data and metadata of "multiple types of cell lines x various cell states" and promote the construction of our own integrated database
・Research to improve the throughput of single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology by one order of magnitude or more
・Research to build a cell culture system in a microspace, a micro-medium preparation system, and a multifaceted cell evaluation system, and to improve the current throughput of culture condition screening by two orders of magnitude or more
・Research to advance elemental technologies through laboratory automation and significantly improve the data acquisition process

応募資格Requirement [Required]
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology and bioinformatics
- Completion of a doctoral course in a bioinformatics-related field, or at least one year of practical experience in bioinformatics-related work
- Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning (hypothesis testing, linear models, cross-validation, etc.)
- Programming experience (Python or R)

[Preferred]
- Experience in omics data analysis, including NGS
- Experience in chemoinformatics (QSAR/QSPR/QSSR) and in silico drug discovery (SBDD/LBDD)
- Experience in collaboration with experimental researchers
