They’re an AI startup founded by researchers from the University of Tokyo and Inria, a French research institute. The founder of the company, has been conducting research on AI at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo, Yahoo Japan Research Labs, Inria, etc. He specializes in multimedia deep learning and has presented his research at top international conferences such as WWW and RecSsy, and has patented his work.

仕事内容Job description [Specific Duties]
This position primarily involves research and development of autonomous mobile systems using simulation and deep reinforcement learning techniques for a highly important project within the company. Specific duties include:
・Designing, implementing, experimenting with, and evaluating deep reinforcement learning algorithms using simulation environments
・Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in deep reinforcement learning and world models
・Providing reports to stakeholders to communicate progress and results
・Effectively managing time and resources to deliver high-quality solutions
応募資格Requirement [Required Qualifications]
・In-depth knowledge and practical experience in reinforcement learning and deep learning (approximately 2 years or more)
・Comfort with using English in work-related tasks (English proficiency at the time of hiring is not a requirement)

[Preferred Qualifications]
・PhD/MS or equivalent research and development experience in machine learning in fields such as computer science, statistics, or physics
・Practical experience in developing AI systems
・Practical experience in data science
・Proficiency in Japanese sufficient for client communication

条件・待遇Condition [Conditions]
Employment status: Full-time employee/freelance (contract for business)
Trial period: 3 months
Expected annual salary: 6.23 M yen to 15.3 M yen, including fixed overtime pay (equivalent to 45 hours). Overtime pay exceeding 45 hours will be paid additionally.
Work location: Tokyo (remote work possible)
Working hours: 10:00 to 19:00 (60-minute break)
Holidays: 2 days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays
Vacations: Summer holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, other holidays
Overtime hours: 10 to 20 hours per month on average
