【お仕事の内容】
お任せするのは、新たに開発を進めるゲームの開発ブリッジの業務です。
日・中の開発担当者をつなぎ、「ゲーム開発の上流」に携わることができるポジションです。
具体的には、
■翻訳業務
PowerPointにまとめられた「企画概要書」、Word・スプレッドシートにまとめられた「仕様書」の翻訳(日→中、中→日)を担当。 仕様書には、「Aというモンスターを倒したらBが登場する」といった、ゲームの仕様が記載されています。 二拠点間のコミュニケーションは、チャットツール(DingTalk)を活用中。チャットで開発・仕様に関する議論を行なうこともある ため、その翻訳もお任せします。
■通訳業務
ほぼ毎日、中国・日本の拠点をつないで電話・ビデオ会議を実施するので、その通訳業務もお任せします。
■進行管理業務
担当するのは、今後リリース予定のタイトル。
翻訳・通訳業務に慣れてきたら、プロジェクトの進行管理業務もお任せしていきます。

京都オフィスで活躍する社員2名のほか、中国本社の大勢のスタッフと一緒に開発を進めていただきます。
各オフィスのメンバーとは、ほぼ毎日チャットやビデオ会議で連携。
対面ではなく画面越しのやりとりになるからこそ、相手の意向を汲み取る円滑なコミュニケーション が大切です。
立ち上げ間もない拠点かつプロジェクトも初期段階。そのため現時点では少人数とのやりとりが中心ですが、今後メンバーが増員す れば10~20名規模でのビデオ会議も増える見込みです。

What they are looking for is a development bridge for a new game that they are developing.
This is a position where you can be involved in the "upstream of game development" by connecting Japanese and Chinese development staff.
Specifically,
■Translation duties
Responsible for translating (Japanese to Chinese, Chinese to Japanese) the "Planning Summary" compiled in PowerPoint and the "Specifications" compiled in Word and spreadsheets. The specifications document contains game specifications such as "B will appear when monster A is defeated. For communication between the two locations, a chat tool (DingTalk) is being used. Since discussions on development and specifications are sometimes held in chat rooms, we also entrust the translation of these documents to you.
■Interpretation
Almost every day, telephone and video conferences are held between their bases in China and Japan, so they also leave interpretation work to you.
■Progress management
They are in charge of titles scheduled for release in the future.
Once you have become accustomed to translation and interpretation work, they will entrust you with project progress management work as well.
They would like you to play an active role as a colleague who supports the project.
In addition to the two employees working in the Kyoto office, you will work with a large number of staff from the China headquarters to promote development.
They collaborate with members of each office via chat and video conferencing almost every day.
Because you will be communicating through a screen rather than face to face, it is important to have smooth communication to understand the other party's intentions.
This is a new office and the project is still in its early stages. Therefore, at this point we are mainly communicating with a small number of people, but they expect to increase the number of video conferences with 10 to 20 people in the future as the number of members grows. |
