仕事内容Job description [Job description]
You will conduct research and development of novel technologies leading to "data-driven cell control" and acquisition of cellular big data.
You will promote the development and commercialization of technologies for the creation of new drugs and the practical application of regenerative medicine by utilizing bioinformatics, machine learning, statistics, and mathematical science.

The research projects include [A] in-house research projects and [B] research projects conducted jointly with other companies.

[A] In-house research project: Research and development of cell control technology that integrates single-cell, large-scale transcriptome analysis technology and cell culture optimization technology.
(Examples of research projects)
・Research to acquire gene profile data and metadata of "multiple cell lines × various cell conditions" and to promote the construction of their own integrated database.
・Research to improve the throughput of single-cell, large-scale transcriptome analysis technology by an order of magnitude or more.
・Research to establish a cell culture system in a microscopic space, a micro medium preparation system, and a multifaceted cell evaluation system, and to improve the throughput of culture condition screening by two orders of magnitude or more from the current level.
・Research to improve the data acquisition process by upgrading elemental technologies through laboratory automation.

[B] Research projects conducted jointly with other companies: Joint research with other companies and contract research in the fields of drug discovery and regenerative medicine using in-house technologies.
