With the increase in the EC rate and the increase in food delivery due to the corona crisis, the amount of packages handled in the last mile (delivery area from the nearest warehouse/store to the recipient's house) is increasing.
On the other hand, in Japan, the working population is declining, and even if parcel delivery is established, it will not be possible to handle delivery by hand alone.

They are trying to solve such a situation with a robot by using a unique mechanism (multiple international patents have been applied for) that links a delivery robot and a dedicated delivery locker. Through this, in the near future, I would like to create a world where delivery infrastructure with automatic delivery robots is commonplace.

The robot has been under development in Japan from April 2021, but development and testing are still required for mass production.
They are looking for people who want to challenge the development of technology such as machine control (sensors), remote control, indoor autonomous control, etc. with their own robot.

・Development of delivery machine control for prototypes and mass-produced machines
・Examination of selection, implementation, and configuration of sensors for autonomous control and other devices
・Technical communication with external companies in mass production design
(Partially, development with overseas suppliers is also progressing, including work in English)

■ Specific work content
Currently, the company is running tests on the second prototype.
This running test is being conducted on the second prototype. You will be responsible for leading the development of the prototype 2 autonomous driving model. As an in-house product, you can take charge of the development of a small delivery robot from zero to one, reflect your own technology in a concrete product, and be involved in social implementation to create a product that can run in the city.
応募資格Requirement [Requirements]
・ROS2 experience
・A degree related to computer science or robotics
・Implementation experience in C, C++
・Experience implementing in Python
・Knowledge of various sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, and IMU
・Development experience of autonomous control system OSS such as Autoware, and autonomous control software
・Required Japanese ability: Greetings level

[Preferred requirements]
・Implementation experience with ROS/ROS2
・Experienced Robocon
・Experience in launching mass production
