仕事内容Job description 【Position Background】
This position is open due to the departure of the previous team member.

【Job Description】
You will be responsible for testing and validating navigation system functions and operations using vehicles and test tracks. After testing, you will document any errors and create detailed reports (called “tickets”) in the designated system. The work also involves collaboration with clients and global suppliers, as well as supporting market releases in Japan and internationally.

Specific tasks include:
- Navigation system testing and validation (e.g., route quality maintenance, map update verification, map data accuracy checks)
- Submitting test results by specified deadlines
- Creating test plans for database validation in cooperation with clients and suppliers
- Recording and reporting errors using a specialized reporting system
- Following up on reports to ensure issues are resolved
- Supporting the navigation team in response to additional client requests
- Assisting with market release processes in both Japan and global regions
- Facilitating smooth communication with global suppliers (such as those providing a wide range of map-related data)
応募資格Requirement 【Required Qualifications】
- Business-level proficiency in English
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (strong communication skills are especially valued)
- Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong interest in the automotive industry
- Valid Class 1 Japanese driver’s license (standard license for passenger vehicles)
- No prior experience required – candidates from other fields are welcome.

- Educational background in science or engineering
- Strong motivation and interest in the role, even without prior experience
- Ability to adapt flexibly to new tasks or responsibilities
- Genuine interest in the automotive field

条件・待遇Condition 【Employment Conditions】
Employment Type: Fixed-term contract employee (initial 1-year contract)
Probation Period: 3 months
Expected Annual Salary: ¥3.6M – ¥4.0M
Base Salary: ¥300,000/month~
Work Location: Chiba Prefecture
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (60-minute break)
Holidays: Full two-day weekends (Saturday and Sunday), national holidays
Annual Holidays: 120 days
Leave: Year-end and New Year holidays, birthday leave, and other special leaves
Overtime: No overtime in principle (overtime pay will be provided if applicable)
Smoking Policy: Smoking prohibited indoors (designated smoking area available on premises)
