仕事内容Job description [Job description]
The role includes operational support for semiconductor measurement equipment and solar cell evaluation equipment, demonstrations, improvement proposals to equipment development departments, feedback on user needs, regular maintenance, repairs and sales support.
For example, they are responsible for supporting the introduction of new evaluation and analysis equipment in semiconductor manufacturing by visiting the factories and laboratories of semiconductor-related manufacturers throughout Japan. Depending on the scale of the equipment, they may work alone or in teams of two or three to carry out start-up work (e.g. setting up and testing) in preparation for operation. In addition, you may also be entrusted with operational support and maintenance (regular maintenance) work for installed equipment.
*English is used in emails and online meetings with overseas subsidiaries.

[Business travel area/frequency]
Maintenance work will involve a 1-2 day business trip throughout Japan, but you will also be expected to engage in start-up work on 3-4 new projects per year. During start-up work, you will be expected to stay in the area for about one month, but you will return home on weekends.
If the timing is right, you may also be invited to participate in technical training courses at equipment manufacturing sites in Hungary and the USA as part of your overseas business trip, so that you can experience the latest, deepest and most up-to-date technology.

・The candidate must have majored in science and technology (physics, electricity, electronics, etc.) at high school, technical college or university.
